General information

The IMBus connection module IMB-lan serves to integrate the IMBus in 10 / 100 Mbit Ethernet computer networks. The IMB-lan connection module supports static IP-Addresses as well as address assignment by DHCP. Network speed is automatically detected by Auto-Sensing and the IMB-lan connection module is set to the corresponding mode. Network communication can take place in Full-Duplex- as well as Half-Duplex-Mode. The RJ45 connector of the IMB-lan connection module allows connecting standard Ethernet cables as well as using special Ethernet cables featuring IP65 protection class. It is perfectly suitable for usage in Terminal Server environments, because mapping of e.g. COM-Ports is not required.

IMBus module order with IMB-lan connection module

When using an IMB-lan connection module, it is mandatory to include a power supply module 
( IMB-ps2, IMB-dc1 or IMB-acc ) in the IMBus system.

On mechanical and electrical connection of the IMBus modules ( as described in 2.3 ) the order shown below must necessarily be maintained.

When using an IMB-lan connection module, it is mandatory to include a power supply module The IMBus end cover and two additional bolts are included in delivery of the IMB-lan connection module.
The IMBus end cover is mounted on the unsealed IMBus connector of the IMBus power supply module as shown above.
